Illuminate the Pathway to Diagnosis 3 steps to Shine a Light 2025

Connect for EDS this May

EDS and HSD AWARENESS MONTH 2026

STEP 1: Planning your morning Tea: Choose what suits

May is EDS & HSD Awareness Month. Take part in a month of CONNECTIONS: conversations, community, and care. Make it big, small or something in-between.

Catch up for a coffee.

  • A simple chat can spark awareness. Share flyers or QR CODES around the café while you’re there.

Link it to your routine.

  • Dedicate a pilates, yoga, or movement class to EDS and HSD awareness and invite people to stay for a conversation afterwards.

Connect at work.

  • Host a morning tea, bring a plate, and open space for learning and sharing lived experience stories.

Whether it’s a quiet coffee catch‑up, a workplace morning tea, a movement class, or a larger gathering, your impact and conversations will add weight to raising awareness on behalf of CTDNA this EDS and HSD Awareness Month. Download a QR code and printable or digital graphics to support your efforts available below.

STEP 2: Pick a day in May

> Pick any day in May that works for you. Friday 15th May is for #Reds4vEDS day.

STEP 3: Take some photos of your Morning Tea and share to social media

Use the hashtag  #CTDNAConnect4EDSandHSD  and Tag  @ctdnetworkaust

STEP 4: Ask your guests to donate what they can to support CTDNA this May.

Donations from today go toward:

  • Supporting education for clinicians
  • Advocating for better recognition, resources, pathways to diagnosis and management

Every contribution—big or small—will make a real difference in helping CTDNA reach our goals
